jap cars if imported are usually better specced and have been restricted in japan and no salt on the roads over there so cars are usually all in all better coming from japan

go and have a look at it. If its all good then yea swap it. But if its low mileage, why has it needed a new clutch and top end rebuild??

It would be better if it was a Sunny GTi-R, and not a Pulsar. Cheaper insurance etc.

A GTi-R, in my opinion, is a much better car than a c20xe corsa.

The pulsar was designed, and is factory built.

A corsa with a heavy engine up front isnt the best performance platform.

If you want a car for performace - GTi-R
If you want a car for looks - hmmm neither is that nice looking now. Both getting dated, although i think the corsa can look better than the cearal box GTi-R.
If you are on a tight budget - Corsa

In a nutshell. If you want a drivers car that can handle etc go for the GTi-R. If you cant afford to fix it/run it get/keep the Corsa

Depends wots been done to it!!! In one of my mates J TUners they had a feature on them, nearly std ones were running 270!!! but a fair bit more had been done to the ones that cracked 350bhp!!

swap it for the pulsar i would. Just make sure its undersealed (some imports arnt) the speedo has been conerted and its not stolen/thrashed.

They are superb cars and can be tuned to get big power. Need a lot of looking after but my god they fly. Nearly bought one after testing/viewing a few but decided to save for a house and bought the GTI-6.

Insurance actually wasnt that bad for me (22, 4NCB)
