I've had the corsa off the road now for about a month while i try to save for a LET, done few things in that time.
Tinted the rear indicators, fitted some new mudflaps ( ment to be for an astra G ) had the rocker cover powder coated and added a new shiney heatshield.

Still got to have the wheels painted, and find a LET to fit.

Let me know what you think, cheers

to be honest, dont know if anyone would agree, but i wouldnt take an xe out to put an let in.

id get another car, and find an let for that and have the xe as a second car or sell it.

alot of works obviously went into that car with a well running xe in it.

maybe just me though......

yeah i know what you mean mate, i had the car up for sale for a couple of month's but no luck selling it. I can't understand why tho, wasn't asking over the odd's this really is a minter with a great interior and sound system.
Only reason i'm swapping the XE for the LET is i think it will finish it off ( and i've always wanted a turbo )

if it was me id put it back to standard , sell and get a cheaper old rolling shell in good nick thats a 3dr for the LET

i know 5 doors are cool and different, but your putting a let in , so its going to be a totally different kkind of car

love the car as allways mate, but you no my idea

arden blue 1.2 3 dr strip it out and move the xe over. sell all the ice to fund tb's and put the 1.2 in the 5 dr to sell it cheap. it would be cheaper than an let and would be more reliable + your xe r/r @ 160 which is ideal for tb's you wont find a let that hasnt done less than 100k and will def need a full rebuild inc turbo which will cost a bomb

but then a 5dr let would be great aswell

stavs i wouldn't have a clue where to start with putting the XE into another corsa, a lot of work has gone in to this car as you know and would be a shame to break it. I've seen a fully rebuilt let for sale as well £1400 is that a good price ??

Thanks
No there not new arches just use autoglym bumper care, it's great stuff i use it on the tyres aswel. Stavs that engine had done 80k and then had a full rebuild costing over 2.5k with receipts. It's on mig at the moment. The headlights are arteb ones i think, but pretty sure the FK smoked crystal one's are the same.

Looking really good Chris, glad to see your keeping my former pride and joy in top condition. Exhaust is so much nicer looking than the previous one I had built. Headlights are FK ones from our good old friends at PVD

Would be awesome with a LET and if funds allow I'd get it done, would really be the icing, however I do see ppls points with it being 5 door but it would make it pretty rare.

Used to love embarising much bigger cars (BMW's etc) at the lights with the XE, so LET would be an even bigger smile. Just out of interest the ICE still going strong, that really was a great system I installed in it if I do say so myself

Good to see you've decided to keep her

I woudl change the wheels personally to compliment the orientation of the car with maybe some motorsport wheels so you can fit some massive stoppers behind them

Yes I especially love the ones by VAG ownerswho have nothing else to fullfill their lives but to dicuss the finer points of swirl marks.

Have you sorted out your swirls maks Steve? (serious question)
