after writing off my first corsa c moved up the ladder from a basic spec 1.0 to a much much faster 1.2 SXI

remained standard for a few months other than putting in my old pioneer head unit, sub + amp, drilled airbox and the side & rear debadged.

put a scorpion back box on which I'd bought for my 1.0 back in 2004 along with straight through section, Mfree mirrors, tinted side repeaters

then finally lowered with eibach 30mm springs, SRI shocks, steiny front grill and side strips removed. made such a difference to the handling

next changed the alloys to 17" BK Racing 166s and SRI lower grills.

didn't do anything from july to october other than sorting a few problems - gear linkage, steering column and a rather high insurance premium

in the past month changed the mirrors to DTM's, angel eye headlights, de-wipered rear, tinted rear fogs.

2 of my alloys are buckled so got a set of speedlines which wouldn't fit without spacers. put them up for sale intending on buying softstars then have them powercoated. luckly managed to swap them for softstars already in the colour I wanted - result an half

exterior will be finished once I fit the irmy spoiler and get the back box raised so it's flush with rear bumper. looking into the possibility and costs of fitting a redtop otherwise i'll be selling once got a years NCD for something a bit faster.

Love this a lot - lights and wheels on that look spot on. Deffo needs the Irmy rear spoiler.

Did the SRi shocks do much to the ride/suspension? I've got SRi springs which made the ride a bit stiffer but didnt really do much else? Wondering if I should get the shocks as well

cheers m8

ride is a bit stiffer and doesn't seem bouncy at all. worth doing as they can be picked up cheap on ebay. was looking at getting koni shocked until realised the price on sites was for 1 shock not a pair

robin: good choice
