well, couple of months ago, i got a bonus from my 'boss'.... turned out it was his old car, black sri (16v ecotec),....and to be honest, it looked a bucket!!!,, not rust, but just looked a state, (had been kinda brushed up the drivers side by another car.

since ive had the car ive managed to source a driver wing and door from another black sri in the scrappie!!! mint no rust whatever . cost me 30 quid for them !! bargain i think, considering there in the right colour.

theres also a running problem at the moment, will get to 5k rpm and wont rev anymore, kinda like bouncing of the limiter, but deffintly isnt the limit(6.5k) any thoughts any one ?

old ripple wing

old door

then bought these lights of All_torque on here,, but not sure if im too keen on them, might look into some smoked ones. or tinted ones.
and also debadged it.

havent got any pics of the front yet, or interior. but they will follow.
and ive sprayed some of the interior parts in arden blue using the toturial from the forum, and it also has black/blue cobra clubman buckets now, picked them up mega cheap, but they have a couple of cig burns in them, will update with pics and info as i do the work to the car.

yeah, sidewall damage means the tyres are scrap, unless you have them vulcanised by a specialist, but they'll always be really hard to balance.

few more pics,

what do people reckon to this wheels powder coated white?

couple of interior pics, loads of crap in the car atm.

plan tomorrow is to go to the local scrappie and get some 2.0l calipers.
do 2.0 8v callys have the same calipers as 16v callys?
and get some new rear brake shoes and cylinders.

ignore the way the bumper is hanging. had it off to change the wing, and the grille piece is cut out, either to have a slatted grille or black mesh?
