Liverpool have agreed a deal with Boca Juniors for youngster Emiliano Insua.
The 17-year-old left back is yet to make the first-team breakthrough at La Bombanera, but he has already been tipped for a bright future.
Now Reds scouts Frank McParland and Eduardo Macia have highlighted Insua's potential to Rafa Benitez - and a deal has been finlaised.
Liverpool will take the player on loan - for which they will pay nearly £100,000 - after which point they will pay a further £1 million to finalise the move.
Insua, an Argentine youth international, arrived in England earlier this week after the two clubs struck the deal.

Anyone know if he is any good? Have read a few reports that say he is even good enough to break into the first team this season Also that Utd, Chelsea and Barca were after him aswell.

Will he be able to get a work permit?
I doubt Utd Chelsea and Barca were after him. If they were then why would he join Liverpool over these 3 clubs. Must be the history.

We managed to get a work permit for Paletta who is also a young Argentinian, so guess so.
Thats also another reason he may of joined, as he plays in the same youth team as Paletta, aswell as a few other young South Americans. Also think we got in there first.
BTW- I got that bit of info last weekend out of a few of the Sunday papers, linked him to a few teams other than us, and then we signed him!

Also being linked with Juan Manuel Mata and Alberto Bueno, who are both 19 and at Real Madrid. Along with Chelsea. Both are Spanish so we've got a good chance of persuading them with all our Spanish players already!
