You have just signed one of my mates from Accrington Stanley...his names Ian Craney...hes a 24 year old central midfielder...very very good player...won Unibond player of the year and Conference player of the year last year...
Is easily as skillfull as trundle when it comes to tricks...and with them both being scouse they should get on like a house on fire...you have him on loan till January then its being made permanent..
Good buy IMHO...means im gonna be watching a lot more of Swansea now...

Why are Accrington Stanley selling all there best players? Ipswich got Gary Roberts from them and he is awesome.

higher league clubs are getting these boys in on loan coz if they flop they can send them back without having paid transfer fee for them
tresor kandol has joined leeds on loan with view to permanent deal from barnet, few years back teams would buy these players outright teams cant afford flops anymore
stan collymore has signed for shrewsbury town

Tresor Kandol would do well to stay out of Jail between now and the end of his loan spell..... Used to be on Luton's books but he was a little shit. Spent the first part of this season inside!

@ Collymore!
Can't beleive Southend have failed AGAIN on good players, Ugo Egiogh to Leeds, Patrick Berger to Stoke and we let Guttridge go out on loan when our squad is stupidly small anyway!!
Grrrrr

IMO he's still good enough for the Prem so i'm glad we managed to get him. Helped keep Pompey up last season. We need a good keeper too, Beresford is slipping.

Thats one of the problems with being a lower league club...they have to sell to survive...

Its also another way round this transfer window bollocks that we have...means clubs can get players in on "loan" then when the window opens snap them up straight away

Bloody joke, Burnley again don't bother bringing anyone in because the manager is against loans We have the smallest squad in the league and could really do with a couple of loan players to bolster the squad if we are to maintain our place at the top end.
And Greg you think Berger/Ugo would goto Southend?

I know I know, but Stoke aren't much better than Southend and the area is certianly nicer down here!!

Sorry i said that wrong, I meant Stoke haven't really got much more of a bigger name than Southend.
Ok Leeds are a massive club which is why Ugo went there, however Stoke and Southend aren't a million miles away really in many areas (apart from a nicer stadium)
