ah shit sorry guys, its a post about michael stone (famous x UFF terrorist) storming his way into Stormont Castle (place where the local asembly meets to try and negoiate peace in this country) with a gun and a knife and a device. Also had devices all around the castle. Was probably trying to kill Gerry Adams and Martin McGuinnes again...
this is him in action the last time he tried

he didnt they caught himm bundled him into a car, beat him useless as they drove. luckily for him they got intercepted by a road block by the police who pulled him out and got him to hosiptal. He was so lucky, he was probably on his way to the most gruesome death imaginable..
Shame u guys cant see the post on rms as it shows peoples views in this country and why things will never be resolved. Shame really..

He looks like a hobbit, did he honestly think he'd be able to outrun them and get away? That nobody would come after him? Moron..

Forgive me for being ignorant, but you dont learn unless you ask! Is all the fighting about some people wanting Northern Ireland to be part of Ireland, and the others wanting to remain part of the UK? Where does the whole Catholic/Protestant thing come into it too?

Nationalists predominantly catholic wish for the province to be unified, unionists predominantly protestant wish for it to remain part of the UK.
Unionists hold the strong majority.
The three sides in relation to the troubles are the IRA, the UVF and UDA, and the supposed neutral peacekeepers, state security forces which is the British Army.
I've read and heard just about everything there is to know and i used to spend months of every year just on the border of Northern Ireland and my opinion is the place is nowhere near as hostile now as is to be made out. The army presence on the border has diminished and the country is a beautiful place full of extremely friendly people.

Yeah my family have a house in Moville think it's about 14km from Derry maybe a bit more?
When i was younger the border patrols were all still there and there was a definite air of constant tension, although that was maybe due to me being young and scared of army officers peering in at you.
Time and the gradual easing of the bitterness through generations will slowly heal but imo in my lifetime and probably my grandchildrens there will still be trouble, which is a great shame really.
