C20LET is a good fit too, but... To unreliable in my opinion

However, Could always go for B16A or something

Let is much better conversion than a rover one

because to get the similar final drive to a mini you have to use 15" wheels with a b16 and box, which on a mini is nearly impossible with normal bodywork

with a xe/let the F16 box and 13" wheels gives a perfect final drive

There was a mini on 17's a while back looked funny, 13's are quite a large wheel in the mini scene tho heh

my mates has a b16a in it, it won it's class at avon raceways at the british bulldog event, that does 13.4's!!! Quick little things.

It's a bog standard b16a at the moment, i have a mate who runs in the 14's in a 1275, and another with an old mini van with a metro turbo lump running around 155bhp that also does 13's which is just scary at 18psi.
