Just put in a DVD Now, it comes up with the usual blah blah copyright notice, then displays the XBOX360 logo as if its just turned on??
DVD works fine in my stand alone player??
Google returns nothing...
anyone else get this??

dvd is region 2, works fine in other player!
also xbox will play copied region 2 or region free dvd's just fine too...
puzzles me...

not sure, all my other discs play fine, just this one...
hell
if anything the xbox is usually more forgiving for the state of the discs than my standalone, but its in that now & working...
copy of 12 monkeys, region 2, DVD-R disc...

burn was done some time ago, and then only done at 2x (pc spec was plenty to burn faster though)

perhaps theres a certain part of data on this disc tht the xbox laser ish aving trouble reading?

duno is right on the title menu it goes, but ive had a disc which wouldnt read before and it just pops up saying read error bla bla, this just hangs...
meh duno
its workin on the POS player now, so will see whats what another time...
maybe get a 360 for spares on ebay & see if the drive in that reads it...

is there a chapter skip function? had some movies like this and would happen on my dvd played, used to have to use chapter skip to get to start of film before ib bombed out.
