What brakes are people running and what size wheels are you running them with, post your pics

I've got 17's at the moment and im looking to upgrade the brakes to v6 288mm items as at some stage i will want to put smaller wheels (15s) onto the car.

it has been suggested to me to upgrade the brake lines also, is this nessasary? or can I get away with the standard lines?

I had 288mm V6 behind 15" wheels on my old corsa, 2mm caliper to rim clearance...

no pics to had to sorry

300mm 4 pot reyland jobbies under 16s .. cant see them much under the porka rims . got softstars on at mo .. can see them more but need a small spacer to clear!

what reasons do you need them for though? as i would have thought if you are not changing the servo then you wouldnt need to change the lines?

also post your sizes with your pics ideally i want to know what 288's look like under various wheels 17s mainly.

braided hoses make the pedal feel better.

if you don't have them, the brakes will be shite.

Pretty good brakes stop the car well and it ain't the lightest car in the world lol

Plain. With GM pads, or mintex, or pagid.

EBC Discs warp, Black Diamond discs dissolve.

Also had 15in wheels and 2.0 16v brakes on the 1.0, this car used to feel like it was doing and endo on hard braking lol
