My xobx has been crashing recently, at completely random times.
Recently more so, since i had moved it around a bit (ontop of my NTL box) and i had moved the power supply.
So i googled it and found this thead:
http://uk.gamespot.com/forums/show_msgs.php?topic_id=23998153&page=0
They say it is down to the power supply overheating, and the solution is to make it 'suspend' in the air, so the heat can disperse on all 4 sides. It also says to move your xbox so it is 'independant' and has clear access to side and fronts.
I have just moved my 360, and put the power supply over a shoe box, il see if this helps at all.
Just thought id spread the word

sweet i always wondered about that power supply
a few more tips ive heard about on the net:
make sure the 360 is actually plugged into a plug socket in the wall, rather than off some multi adaptor as this can cause games to freeze
try not to let it get to dusty or keep it in a dusty place
dont use one of those after market intercooler things, lots of people have had problems with them
if a game freezes up on you, download a patch for it from xbox live as if its the games fault then this should fix it

you cant just download a patch off of live if a game keeps crashing
Any updates for games download automatically if you're signed into live when you start the game.

the patches don't necessarily fix the fact a game is crashing. thats the point i was trying to get across.

You couldnt see it, but I blushed when we kissed in the bush last night. I was hoping for more of the same when we were hiding in that room together.

Well apparently there has been a huge issue with recent 360's. If your XBOX shows 3 red lights knows as the "Ring of death"
Fngers crossed, mine has been ok so far.

How do u lose a recipt for something like this, what a TWAT.
Payed for it with vouchers aswel, cant even show a bank statement etc.
Surely they must be able to track via Serial number?
