yes, my website is offline as its currently being updated.

I can do corsa systems made to your requirements by mail order, any bore up to 3" fully tig welded 304 stainless.

a cat back corsa system would be £250 delivered inc VAT. with a decat it would be £290

if you are going for performance then it will be less restrictive with a decat fitted.

it is illegal to drive a car on the public road without a cat fitted if the car origainally came with one though. will fail an MOT.

when I make a decat system I always weld flanges in so that the cat can be refitted if necessary.

its not illegal to de-cat your car, you dont need one for the mot either, but car will most likely fail due to stricker imissions test, although it is possible to pass a cat test without one

Not what I've been told Ste, if the car was originally specced with a Cat, removing it, even if it still meets emissions regs, will result in a fail.

I'm not an MoT tester though, just going on what my tester told me.

the final verdict on this (I enquired with VOSA and the police)

if you have no cat fitted and the engine in the car was a fitment in any vehicle after 1992 it should have a cat in place, although if it passes the emmissions test (unlikely) then you will be given a pass for the MOT with a reccomendation to fit a cat.

the police view was that if they carry out an emmissions test on the side of the road and you fail but have a cat present, you will get a 14 day vehicle rectification notice. If you fail and have no cat fitted they have the power to sieze the vehicle and fine you up to £2500

you an MOT tester??

Cos it is illegal and if your caught with no cat now vosa can issue with a £1000 on spot fine
