BP 102 is about £2.42 a litre
Tesco 99 was voted the best by a magazine recently, not sure which one, but it was something like Car, or TopGear.
No point in an average road car though really.

could you not just max the difference up with octane booster.

Vpower is 99 ron, Optimax was 98 ron, i've only ever used these to particular fuels, as when i used normal once, it doesn't last aslong aswell as feeling sluggish in comparison.
Apperently there was a subaru impreza sti i think the vid is on you tube and using tesco's 99 / v power / bp ultimate over there 95 ron equivilents made quite a big difference on the rr, i can't remember the exact results but they were significant.

It is BP which sell 102 RON fuel at £2.42 per litre. Its race fuel and pointless unless your tank is completely dry and preferably your car is mapped to use 102 RON. Not every BP sells it. The one in Pompey does because of Goodwood.
The test with the impreza was done with Optimax, Tesco super and BP Ultimate. Tescos won.

doesnt the car need to be remapped to make use of higher RON fuel therefore meaning there is no advantage over using 95 RON unless the car is remapped.
or am i a retard?
