from reviews I read before buying, it's not a long game.
The graphics are very good, the gameplay is good. And easy to learn and play.
It all depends on your taste. It's an RPG game...cool game.

really don't know how to put it...it's like exploring some different places (not 1 single). Some characters change during the game. It's not exactly like levels. but it gets more difficult as you progress through esp the battles that repeat.

Oblivion is immense I need to get back into this.
Steve if you're after an open ended RPG then get Oblivion. You can do what you want, when you want and what you do depends on how your character turns out. I.e. start killing townsfolk and you'll be hated, you'll turn evil and sadistic and your face changes. People will tell you less information and others will tell you more if or more if they're evil themselves.
I might get back into this at the weekend.

Dave the game is massive mate and there are loads of ways to play it...
I'm a normal warrior type person, one handed sword and shield. You can be a mage, archer and loads of other characters with individual skills (lockpicking, sneaking, stealth, destruction etc...)
I accidently killed someone and the next time I slept i was visited in the middle of the night by the Dark Brotherhood (a group of hitmen basically). They asked me if i wanted a job with them my task was to kill someone with a dagger they gave me, I didn't have the nerve to do it because I'd previously helped that person out before and he gave me some nice stuff
I'm definitely playing this again now

it's a shame you can't play it online (co-op i think would be good).
There's loads of downloadable content for it as well (new quests, armor, houses etc...)
Oh yeah, did I mention you could buy your own house to store things?
