Ive had the car over 5 years now and it has changed a lot since i first got it. A completely standard trim LS model was purchaced in my favourite colour blue when i was 17...Anyway i thought it was about time to post the progress of my car as everyone else has in here!so here it goes.......Enjoy

The day i picked it up

After a good 5 hours cleaning with new plates/wheel trims/indicators etc
How high is the car lol

Few new additions including Robin's old exhaust which has remained since

Then i was pleased with new wheels and colour coded post 97 bumpers

Then it went downhill after me being stupid and crashing on a damp night

It was good that i worked at a paint shop and my boss helped me sort it!

Nearly back togeather with a little extra colour coding, but needed to find 1 Speedline which was later sourced on ebay

Finally lowered using FK coilovers before they were at its lowest

Then Broster decided to strip his sport interior so i got my hands on it
During

After

Then realised lexus lights werent for me, so got some irmscher smoked 1s

Then i needed new brakes, 1.2 brakes were swaped in favour of V6 ones with braded hoses which are 100x better!plus smoked indicators

Then came Trax 2005 and i was realy pleased with the car......for now!!

Then days after trax i got hold of some stienmetz replica sideskirts.. whilst cleaning car i broke the smoked indicators so clear ones went back on,doh

Then got a gsi bumper from jamesvalver off here and got that on

Stripped rear seats out with false floor housing amp, 6x9s and strut brace

Then one weekend at work i semi-smoothed my boot and later added a genuine GSI spoiler

All fitted up and windows where tinted the same weekend too!

Then decided to have my speedlines sand blasted and then i repainted them a BMW silver metallic

Before refitting my speedlines fully waxoiled and cleaned up under the car

Then a week before Trax 2006 i decided to smooth the ridge from my front bumper

Trax 2006, wheels on and bumper finished

Latest new is ive fitted GSI clocks and Recaro Speed seats

John_C got the fog lights in the garage, just never been a fan of them on cars.

1.6 8v will be done at the end of next year all being well, il get it fully rebuilt first, then going for a smoothed engine bay similar to the dub boys!

Didnt go for a 1.6 16v as there are soo many about now, and i managed to get hold of a 1.6 8v Nova GTE lump for a very good price and figured it will be an easy convertion as the cars already an 8v and hopefully less likely to go wrong because of only 8v's (i hope lol).......

I removed the perspex off the front and painted the plastic silver, and fitted lmf alloy rings. Then cut small peices of perspex around the rings and glued them in place.
