Mine is in a right mess and Im never really impressed by most cleaning products , so is a steam cleaner recomended ?

Yes mate but Im talking about light oil stains etc.
Used hot water and detergent before and that worked well but I really want to get it all spanking !

Yep I did this with my first grotty Corsa, took everything out put some cleaning stuff we had at work on them and blasted them off. They came up a treat, were absolutly filthy before but they looked almost brand new.

dont think steam cleaning is the thing for interiors. its wet vacuuming. they use detergents and the like so should get it spot on

Errm can't remember we have some big mofo heaters at work in the valeting bay so I left them in there for about half a day then just put them outside when it was dry. They did'nt go back in the car straight away though so not sure when they were 100% bone dry.
