Why are they so shit?

They have 180bhp, LSD, do 0-60mph 5.5sec and they only do 1/4 mile in 15.5? thought they would do it in V. low 14's?

Probably because people don't actually care about 1/4 mile times when they're buying a fast car which handles amazingly.

Or something.

Their quality cars! But why do you think they would do low 14's in standard trim 180bhp and not much torque in a car thats not exactly superlight.

15 seconds is a respectable 1/4 mile time.

Speak ENGLISH!!!

Low 14's is a Quick time! Anything that runs a 15sec of less 1/4mile is considered a quick road car.

Cars such as the Clio V6, Clio 182, Focus RS etc all run high 14's low 15's. For a standard road car thats quick!

looking around, it seems that it's 6.2- 60mph, and a 15 dead 1/4, which is VERY quick for a STANDARD car.

hang on a xe corsa weighs considerbbly less and just hit 15s.

ek9s do the same with a heavier car and less bhp.

maybe its the driver a lot of people who have civics dont understand that the altho the ek9 can rev to 9k, changing at 8.2k is much better for the next gear.
plus there not strip cars there track cars.

Have you ever thought its down to the gearing as to why the car has a low 0-60 time and an average 1/4 mile time??

It would destroy an XE corsa round a track, which is what matters.
