Phil.

Least it shouldn't be tooooo hard to get it back on the road Guess you stuck ur legal plate back on the front and some reflectors on the rear as neither of those were points?

Oh and I've still got 2 years before my 1st MOT

Ive decided from now on to get the MOT done a month in advanced so anything that needs fixed, can be sorted before the due date without getting caught out at the last minute and having to pay the garage to sort it out.

Phil

Reminds me of my Mot a little while ago, had a list of similar length to yours.

Did you get a quote from where you had ya Mot on how much they would charge to fix it?? Was probably laughable at

I had to pay £40, then £200 for new brakes/flexi hose(had no choice) and then £18 for a partial retest. If i done the brakes myself it would have saved me a fortune even if i had to pay twice.

I also ended up doing that on mine

then I realised that the light itself was broken, so I had to buy a new one for one side

only failed once in 3 tests and my dad went mental as he owns a garage and we did all the stuff it failed on and was all aload of bullshit,

they said the front brake pads were too worn, they still ahd half the meat left on them. also said handbrake cable was frayed which it wasnt.

now we take it to where we send the vans, my dad might apply to be a MOT test station ould safe us aload of hassle taking customers vehicle to test stations who are just looking to make as much money as possible
