escape route.
Le Guen gets sacked says he never had the backing of his captain from day 1, his reputation remains intact gets a premiership team next season and all is rosy in his garden.
If he stays at Rangers they will never get better there is no happy ending with him as manager that much is quite apparent.

Couldn't agree more. There are rumours that Everton want him on loan to. Shift him on loan, sack Le Guen, bring him back, all happy. (I would be anyway) Le Guen has no idea what he has done.

I think He is getting rid of him as Fergie IMHO will still think he is the main man and probably more players listen to him the PLG..

The thing I don't understand is PLG coming out after the M'well game and saying its basically because of Barry being a disruptive influence Obviously he must know more than me but Barry has always put his heart into being a Rangers player, and I'd never think of him as being a disruptive influence.

more of an influence though that PLG at moment and PLG will feel undermined.

Exactly. He'll feel undermined, so he'll put his own reputation before the best interests of the club. Ferguson is the biggest influence, driving force, and our most talented midfielder.

with a crocked Prso hes your only half decent player tbh, McGregor has done well but has still only played a handful of games the defence is a shambles, the midfield is poor and up front were you have probably the best finisher in the league LeGuen continually undermines him

Le Guen is 100% in the right here as far as i see it Ferguson has been a detrimental force this season and last season also
this goes two ways know though he is sold or they sort it out like men
i would prefer him to sort it out and just knuckle down with everyone pulling in the same direction

to be honest if PLG is a good a manager as he says he is then he should be able to pull barry and all the other players into line and not resort to selling players that show signs of strength

IMO, barry ferguson is too good for the scottish league. Don't mean to be disrespectful but players like that should be in the prem. He did well at rovers when he wasn't injured. Would be a good signing for any prem team

I'm all for giving new managers time but Le Guen has done nothing in 6 months to give me any confidence in him at all.
Barry Ferguson is a life long Rangers fan and our best player, he's got the clubs best interests in mind and obviously questioned something about Le Guen's style.
Le Guen underestimated the SPL, thought he could buy a few half decent players and walk the league, he was wrong.
I think Ferguson will go out on loan but hope he's back in summer when (hopefully) Le Guen leaves!
