Just got some new quotes for the corsa as it renewal time and im also looking at getting a cavalier instead to save up for a better car when i finish uni, corsa came to £1500tpf+t (corsa sport 1.6) and cav only came to £1000tp+t! (1991 1.8 GL)
thought the corsa would have been cheaper tbh

i had a corsa sport 1.6 at 19, was £900 FC to insure
a cav 2.0 16v sri redtop was £750
BUT an Astra Sport 1.8 16v wasnt insurable, cos it was a sports hatchback, the corsa is faster anyway

I can insure a 3.2 V6 Omega for less than a 1.4 16v Corsa.
Bigger, more grown up car = less of a risk.
