Think the time has come to get the C20LET project underway, but I need to free up some cash. So i'm selling my Mantzel Powerbox which was fitted to my C16XE.
The car was rolling roaded with the box on and it produced 137bhp. We all know what a difference these boxes make and there's the proof.
Price is £350, no offers. Unless of course you want to offer more !?

I engine was an exchange unit from Vauxhall, came standard. I put the powerbox on, got it setup and it came off the rollers with 137bhp.

That's not true. I know a few people with an inlet, full system, and a re-map that get around 130-135 bhp. With cam's and a re-map you should se into 140's. However i can't see you getting 137 bhp with just an Mantzel and a backbox. Now way.

This type of power is perfectly possible, seen it more than once with a mantzel or mantzel style inlet

Surely everyone knows these are genuinely good for +20bhp with a bag of extra torque.
Rollers are never accurate, so why argue over the sake of like 5bhp?
Good luck with the sale, I guess these are rare now and worth every penny.

the c16xe has a differant lower inlet to the x16xe x16xel and x14xe
these are the best mods for money you can get for the smallblock xe
shouldn't think youd get 137bhp although you will get a very noticeble increase in power at high revs..

POSSIABLY 20bhp with a remap and full exhaust, yes. Agrue over 5bhp? 106bhp + 20bhp = 126bhp, hes claiming 137bhp, how is that 5bhp out
Not knocking the item, as they are very good, just dont see how you got those gains

Mantzel quote figures of 12BHP without mapping. Still makes a difference though
