Could someone explain what i would need for the conversion. What engine mounts would i need and what shafts etc. Ive already got the suspension and braking sorted, just wondered about the conversion process?

Anyone?

Unless your car is fairly modified I would sell up and buy a 1.6 Sport. Just my opinion mind!

Yeh it is mate. GSI kit, speedlines, koni adjustables, 2.0 brakes etc. The bodywork is mint, and so im keeping it. I will be running the x16xe on tb's, but just need to know whats involved in the conversion.

buy a conversion kit off someone. theyre like 350 quid arent they?

conversion kits are for the 2.0 16v. i cant find one for the x16xe. if you can, please post up a link of where from?

Conversion kits for the X16? Don't you just use the standard stuff from either a X14 or X16.

Im selling a job lot - C16XE engine, mounts, shafts, loom , ecu etc etc

Im converting to the turbo side so no longer need any of it

screw that then my mistake. i'll be in the same situation when im 18 (2 months) - gna swap me x12xe for the 1.6

is boggling my head atm....
