Bought a Memory card from eBay and it arrived this morning, However when inserting it into the Nokia 6280 It doesn't seem to fit correctly, like to get it out I have to pry it out... Strange I thought. It's 2gb one and when I insert it into the phone it doesn't recognise it, I've inserted it and turned it off and then back on and it makes no difference....

I can't format it because when I put into a card reader it doesn't show up, it only fits in one way in the 6280 (Gold side up, I think it is) the strange thing is that it doesn't smoothly fit in, to get it out you have to pry it out, M not 100% sure of the make but here is the link for it

if the memory card reader can;t find it, it might be that the card is faulty....

It might be that the phone cant handle a 2gb card.
Im not sure on that though. Never read up about that phone.
Is there another phone in the house that use that card? Try it in another phone.
Its a bit weird that the phone wont recgonise theres a card inserted though.

Nokia 6280 supports up to 4G.
Card seems t be faulty. Send it back and ask for a full refund
Then go to mobymemory.com or on amazon.co.uk and buy a proper one
