Seriously, the graphics look terrible! All the adverts on the TV showing the games look such a poor quality, the type of games seem to be on a par with the DS too

no they dont i think you need to actually play a ds and a wii game tbh, the graphics whilst not amazing (as its not meant to be a console based around graphics) are still quite nice to look at, system is more powerfull than the ps2 and xbox and graphics are slightly better than the gamecube.
and no there really not anytjing like the ds.
PS: if your reffering to the wii sports its not meant to look grapically great its a free game desinged to show off the system and a lot of fun it is too.
more to the point why do graphics matter than much it doesnt imporve the quality of gameplay, id take a great game over a pretty one any day.

play GoW and tell me graphics dont matter. It also has superb gameplay/coop mode etc

lol i have gow and tbh i had a quick go of it but never really got into it, its been done before, yes its pretty graphics but that doesnt make a game.

You shouldnt slag the wii off till you played it lol we bought 4 a while back to sell for profit one of ma mates withdrew and kept it cos he loves it soo much its wickid to play but sometime u do get over excited and hit someone with the remote

it has gameplay too. co-op is superb online.
Wii will get repetitive using the same motion for all its games and when that happens what else does it have to offer? stunning looking games? nope
decent FPS? Nope
Forza/GT HD? Nope

mmmm try inovative game
not to mention the fact nintendo have made some of the best games in history so first party support is great.
people said the same thing when the ds came out that its a gimmik and when people get bored of the touch screen what is there to do, and the psp will crush it as it looks graphically a lot better.
well a year or 2 on and the ds is crushing the psp in terms of sales both hardware on software, and has a surprising ammount of surport both first party and third party.

Since getting my Wii, I've hardly played on my 360. It's tons of fun, especially when you have mates round.

I have a Wii and i think they are great. they are fun games at the end of the day that is why i have a 360 for jaw droping graphics.

The gameplay does that.
Its simply the best fun ive had since playing virtua cop2 for the sega saturn

I mean its all about gameplay, I play on my N64 with Goldeneye and Mario Kart moer than ive ever played on my PS2 , ok the PS2 aint the best but i aint paying out for a 360!
The Wii is not meant to be all about graphics, its the game play, that is why in all the gadget mags its come out top for game play, the 360 and PS3 may do graphics but they dont have what the Wii has!!

i had a my wii for a weekend before i sold it on, it was awesome bue better when u got mats round. its good but got a bit repative so thought id make some money on it.
cant compare it to the 360, totally diff machine. there awesome tho and at the front of gaming innovation

i got 1 for xmas and i think its a lot of fun the wii sports game graphics are not that good but i have also got need for speed carbon and the graphics are the same as a ps2 i think! its a very fun gamin macine! u can have such a laugh on it and it stops you from been a couch potato!!
