So my mate gets this caddy from down south, "It's not too bad" he says.

It's a mess, he got it off a guy who wanted to do it up, it'd been sitting in a field for a year or so and has got into a state. Quite a bit of rust has set in and the areas he's done work is absolute poo!
What we've done so far...

Removed the doors, tailgate, windows, interior, engine and bumpers. Its just come back from having a couple of areas sand blasted and we've been grinding away with wire brushes!

The plan is to build a new dash have all the interior in black leather, the engine bay sprayed black and the whole pickup in lacquered brushed steel.

Coments welcome

antscorsa-Yeh no worries, were going over the whole car again when its actually ready for spraying.
ed-Yeh weve got the lacquer but I have no idea what it is, the tailgate and bonnet have already been done (as test pallets) and are fine!
Sean has managed to get some new sills and new floor panels off Volkswagen! The weldings coming on now too, pics to follow shortly!!
