anyone ever done them themselves?
my spare set of bmw ones could do with some work and as i have them off the car i thought why not?
what do you use to fill them? filler? anything stronger?
powdercoat vs spraying? if i spray i can do them myself, if i powdercoat i will have to pay
any help?

powdercoat is generally a tougher coating, but spraying is just as good if done properly.

powdercoat will cost about £25 a wheel
DIY will involve cost of materials and time and will not be as tough as powdercoating.
Some wheels I've done before (the one posted above by bieransri):

I had a set done for £25 a wheel (without tyres though)
that involved shotblasting, very minor refurbing, and powdercoating
the finish and quality is so much better

sand down any deep scratches yourself with a block and some 80 grit then get them shot blasted and powder coated. much better in the long run
