i'd say somewhere around a 1300 - 1500, if its a straight swap. old to new boiler

do you not have to get a condensing boiler rather than a combi these days?

all new combi's tend to be condensing.
£700 is about the price of the boiler, the rest is in other parts and labour, do not do to british gas unless you have money to put in the bin

You can only fit condensing boilers these days,
In my opinion Worcesters are crap, their very cheaply made and their customer service is diabloical can sometimes take weeks for them to come out with a part.
Baxi / Potterton are exactly the same but the Potterton will be 50 quid cheaper,
The boiler i would recomend is a Heatline, their a fairly new company and not so well known and the one i fitted in my uncles house was 200 quid less than the equivalent Baxi. Built a bit better if you ask me as well. Also it was pre wired and was very easy to fit so the fitting cost would come down a tad
