Just been to fill the tank up (£20 @ Jet) and there is now a faint smell of petrol in the car - is this normal? - it has happened once or twice but not for over 3 /4 months
(I did let it run down to the red - if this has anything to do with it)
Any advice much appreciated as I do get worried easily

hmm, im not bein sarcastic, but on the odd occasion my car smells like that, usually when its windy at the station and the fumes blow in, or I have my window down.

when the tank is full it could just be a vent to let fumes out mate unless it's leaking nothing to worry about

or your car could be over feulling.
Mate of mine has an xr2i, sit in it for 5 mins then get out and your high
The amount of fumes that come through the heaters or windows is ridiculous

christ - no mine is nothing like that - does sound good though as petrol smells ace but not when it's in your car and could be a problem
