Ever since I've got it back from the garage where they were fixing it, It's felt slow. The final thing they did after changing loads of stuff was change the injectors (so whole throttle body had to come off).
Just went to fit a new ecu engine temp sensor to see if that fixed it... and noticed
this sensor was unplugged! I found it in a load of wires underneathe my induction kit (pic is not of my car... my car has a big blue samco tube and enclosed induction kit).
So possibly when they fitted the TB back on, they forgot to attach that. I think I read somewhere it was the 'Air temp sensor' ... took it for a drive and feels a lot quicker all through the rev range, also more responsive. Was bogging down before low down! Well happy.
Could do with a 4-1 mani though I still reckon, but should be back to how it was.
Loo_goblin I'll take you out in it now!

tbh I would have checked all of the sensors straight away if it were me (from previous experience though), at least you got it sorted

I've had the raceland on the car for years... I was one of the first to get it...
All I'm saying is, I instantly noticed a lack of peaky ness after fitting the raceland...
IT made my car with my cams make peak power rather low...
officially it was at 7000 rpm - but in actual fact looking at the graph it was more like 6500 and just continues flat till 7k and then starts dropping...
Similar camm'd cars - without the raceland make peak power strong at 7400 rpm

You sure they didnt unplug it for a reason
Maybe they did a bdge job and with that D/C it did "sumit" better, wouldnt be the first time some garages have been known to do stuff like it.
