you'll be able to get some of those things cheaper at smaller tool companies, though it all depends on the brand you go for, like your heat gun £25 from your catalogue, £10 from a local tool compnay and made by draper

You need a 3 phase compressor to get enough horsepower. Or one with two motors and an A/C soft start controler which costs about £1400.

So the 100 quid ones they sell with tools don't work at all then?

Just for show?

They don't do the job you expect them to do. I've got this stuff and I've have several different compressors, none of which have been able to get the pressure up enough to run my air ratchet or impact wrench. Even my 2 cyl 200 litre compressor wont pack enough power to run the tools to get nuts tight enough...

I think if he wants all those tool then good for him Since i got my car i have wanted to do loads of mechanical work. I can't though because i don't know how... lol. Which i had taken mechanics at college instead of web development

You should be able to get some cheaper yes. Just buy the tool as you need them though, and not just for the sake of having them

Right, he'll buy his compressor, he'll buy his impact wrench and he'll go to undo his wheel nuts with his 17mm socket. The wheel nuts will not come undone. Even worse, he might do his wheel nuts up with it, drive 4 miles down the road only to have the nuts come loose and the wheels will start clunking about.

Tyre Changer, air ratchet etc etc.

ps ed: I would be using the air tools to loosen stubborn bolts. I would just do that by hand. Its once id cracked them i would use the air tools.
