hey people fit like just got my self a set of cavvy wheels and after ownin them for 30 mins there sold lol so refurbishment 2 has 2 begin cuz the wheels are a bit peely and stuff

wheel rubbed down and masked up


wheel in primer


centre caps in primer


all 4 cavvy wheels in primer away back out 2 the garage 2 paint them gloss black

look good but why not remove the weights and also is that 2k primer?

I want to give mine a go before paying to have them proper powder coated. How long did they take to rub down and that?

yip there sold i basically got them and then they were sold as my mate wanted them for his corsa and i have wheels for my gsi so i sold them 2 my m8 for a gd price.didnt take me that long but uve got 2 rub back a fair bit 2 loose the peely shit lol but the look tidy in the end if u tak ur tym and do everything right lol

not my wheels i was away 2 order tyres as soon as i got them but then my mate offered 2 buy them off me so i sold them he needs them cuz he just started drivein and he is moddin his 1.0 litre corsa black and red will look tidy.he will get 45's in a month or so

they look crap with the huge tyres on get a set of low profiles and they look minted

i got myself some cavvy wheels the other day and am currently in the process of sanding down that awful primer, is peeled and flaky lol but ive finished one wheel and looks brand new! going to spray them gloss black i think, should look good!

my mate pev had the exact same colour 5 dr corsa lowered with cavvy wheels on it with black bumpers it was polished 2 the max back 2 blacked all the tym on the mouldins and tyre shine on the tyres

how come you left the weights on? i'm still doing mine months down the line surely leaving the weights on will stuff it up :S

heres a thing tell me why it will duff it up weights r there for reasons 2 BALANCE UR WHEELS so that u get no juderin through ur steerin wheel at like 60mph

he means when you remove the weights you will have big areas where the paint has been masked not to mention it may crack when removing them.

You could have removed the weights painted your wheel and put them back on..

or rebalance them if they have not been done in ages

nana not alot of paint for the first coat looks alot cuz i had the flash on the camera.its all gd cuz that weights wont be movin.cuz i have painted wheels b4 with similar weights and i put the weights back on and chipped my nice paint work so they get left on now u see lol.colour coded old weights are the way forward hehe
