Bought it back a few years ago in my 2nd year of 6th form. Was for sale for £3000 with 40k on the clock though had been in a minor crash before but all repaired by the insurance. I swapped in my learner corsa ( which was crap ) and paid just over 1.5k for this chap.

Put a K & N on as soon as i got home and fitted my mille miglia spiders. A rage back box came soon after.

Soon came time to get rid of the rage back box and try something different. I won a bfo backbox on ebay. A while later I met iaz and he had a 60mm apex suspension kit off the old orange corsa so i bought that and he fitted it at 10pm on a friday night and my car looked like this

I soon saw the light though and took off the VXR and sport badges ( still dont know why i fitted them ).

I then fitted some depo smoked headlights and had to put the original 15" twin spokes back on as my tyres had run out of tread and i didnt have any spare cash at the time... though the spoders went back on soon after....

At this time it was Autumn/Winter 2005 and i was in two minds to sell the corsa or just go out and mod it more. The decision was made in early december 2005 when i saw in my local paper that Cobra were having a factory sale so i thought i'd have a look. I left with two Monaco S bucket seats finished in Vinyl for £50 each ( BARGAIN !! ) with only a bit of stitching wrong which I soon repaired. The seats though sat in my room until Marche even though I got subframes for Christmas.

After Christmas I decided my next move was to get some smoked rears and i phoned up rimstyle for some mhw's. Unfortuanatly the last pair sold a few days before and to this day no one has been able to get new ones.

That put me off a bit but as i was coming up to my 20th birthday i thought i would put my birthday cash to good use and headed up the M6 to Blue flame to get a centre section mated up to my back box. And i loved the sound. So much i took the K & N off as i prefered the sound of the exhaust.

By now it was March and PVS was creeping up and my target was to get my car looking respectable and looking good on the Corsasport stand. So my next move was to buy some cobra harnesses and strip the rear out.

I was now enjoying my racy feeling interior but the exterior was still crying out to be done.

Inspired partly by Rob B's old silver corsa i decided for a euro front bumper and the reiger rs front extension.

A few weeks later i saw a post on here about Auto Vaux selling OE Gsi skirts for £110 so i was straight on the phone to order some. As soon as they were ordered I was looking for somewhere/someone to fit them. The man i wanted was Iaz as hes down the road and his work speaks for its self. Though he was jam packed with other peoples cars and working at the pub so he couldnt do it. I then got hold of a renault body repair shop and got my car booked in with them. Though the date had to be chaged twice as the delivery company delivering my skirts lost them twice and i was getting edgy with pv approaching. Though Auto Vaux arranged to get them delivered for the 3rd time on a sat and i was happy again.

The week after it went to the body shop to be fitted and sprayed to end up like this....

I was happy though by now i wanted new wheels, black / smoked ones. Itried everywhere in the week heading up to PVS and had managed to find a set of team dynamics pro race 2's. I ordered them only for a few days later for them to come back to say they cant supply for a month. so i cancelled them.

So i headed off to PVS with a car to be proud off even though i didnt have black wheels i was still mega happy and enjoyed every minute of the weekend meeting alot of you.

A month or so after I got hold of a thread on here about LMF selling softstars cheap so I rang up staright away and ordered them with Steve. As soon as they were ordered i was talking to Iaz about getting them sprayed and he told me to go for the Volvo Titanium black which he had done John G's with. I fell in love with them when i went to pick them up as i saw them go from grey to black in the sunlight, much like the car going from yellow to greenish in the same sunlight.

These were soon fited and the corsa looked like this in mid summer

I then showed at trax later in the year with you guys and loved that show just as much.

And that was it really for the modding for 2006. I put on some 2.0ltr brakes as mine had worn and decided to consider my options for the car. At the time i was thinking 2.0 engine or sell. I didnt know what to do but i decided on one thing which was i was going to garage her for most of the winter with the odd ride out on good days. In the mean time i bought my grandparents vectra off them for a run around.

Which brings us to now, i was 80% sure i was selling a few weeks ago but have come round a bit to a xe conversion and i think im gona stick with it and slowly save for another car.

Really nice car you have there. Did the body shop just spray the side skirts or the whole car ?

Those alloys look nice in that colour. So are you going to go ahead with the conversion ?
