... at the moment we buy what we can afford, not usually what we 'want'
What is your ideal house? Location/size/style etc
I would say mine would be a 6 tudor style bedroomed house, all with en suites, large kitchen diner with seperate posh dining room, huge garden to the rear, decked etc
detached with land, away from people but not remote, perhaps an indoor swimming pool
2 double garages, wooden/decked summer house and plenty of big old trees for my kids to play in.
with a small stream running through somewhere
and a guest house somewhere on the property, a 2 bedroomed house to lease out and get abit of extra income
Its a dream but im sure one day ill get it! I was just interested in what people would 'want' instead of what we have to have, obviously people would want massive houses but everyone is different
PS - I currently own a 3 bed terraced with a crappy back garden in Wales

Realistically I want a dining room, a garden and garages or two.
Unrealistically somewhere for a grand piano.

Similar to Colin really 4/5 bed detached with garage and a "mens" room in the converted loft with a big TV for the footy.
