What do you guys think of this?...
I know the scrolling dot board spoils it, but my boss specifically asked for that
It's far from finished, but what do you think, so far?

flash wont load properly in ie7 until you click on it to activate it, avoid it if you can

Not sure if its my machine, but that takes waaayyyyy too long to load
I really dont like the dots at the top, makes me feel dizzy and sick if you look at it for too long.
The text on the menu bits looks a bit large, but the way it drops down is nice.

Yeah, the title takes along time to laod, it's not so niticeable with a static title, but cos you see it frame by frame it looks shit...
I hate the dot text, but my boss insisted on it... I might relove it and just have a static logo/title...
I am going to resize the text on the menu bit... but that's tomorrow's job...
as for too much flash... you only need to click the menu bar... there should be no need at all to click the title bar, so that is ok.... it's only 1 interactable flash element...

SOmetimes when you are a designer you should do what you think looks good and not tell the boss. Then impress them with some really good work... Sometimes works
I have a problem veiweing it in Firefox. All I get is:
<object classid="clsid27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=7,0,19,0" width="720" height="200" title="title"> <param name="movie" value="images/toptitle.swf" /> <param name="quality" value="high" /> <embed src="images/toptitle.swf" quality="high" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="720" height="200"></embed> </object>
Instead of the top banner....

I've taken it out... I'll have a look for some better code tomorrow, don't really five a fuck about having to click 1 more time to active at this time ...
As for not telling my boss..... we share an office cos we both do pretty much an equal share of work... but he is the owner of the company so I kinda have to listen to him

what you do is design it how they want it, then do it how you think it should be and give them the 2 choices, people who know sod all need to actually see it to decide, they can't visualise stuff in their head. Its what i have to do at work every day on 90% of jobs.
Opinions on the site, its to big for my liking, as in the type and buttons, but thats just my opinion, i prefer smaller more cleaner designs. Show your boss some bitmap fonts, they look more lcd and better than the dots :/ static image would be much better!
