It's all down to personal preferance IMO..
I hate...
windows meida
Creative Media
Winamp
Real Player
Jukebox Player
Itunes kinda showed my music as it was without the little extra gadgets you have to go through first
Il take a look on the apple website now

theres nothing wrong with itunes apart for the time it take to burn cd's
I have also tryed lots of other programs and still go back to itunes. ID3 tags are very easy to change also lets you do group edits

yea it does, winamp, none of this auto-sync or wiping your ipod clean because you plugged it into another computer
tbh, on a mac you're pretty much buggered as there isn't anything else to use, but itunes on a pc gobbles it up to buggery

It doesnt wipe everything when you change computers, just need to click to manually manage files
Auto sync is great, i put a cd in my drive, itunes copys it to the library, then it goes to my ipod, i dont even have to press any buttons.

It took me ages to switch to iTunes, and in the end I only did it because I got a mac instead.
I was happy with using the Music folder on Windows, but on an Apple you don't really have much choice.
There certainly are a few things I still don't like about iTunes, but overall it's a nice application which does the job.
