18 month contract is 18 month warranty mate. its extended becasue of said 18 month contract. there was an issue with this but the repair companies are sorted and so just need proof that you took out the phone on an 18 month contract.
You must have had a bit of a larry on the phone, you have a warranty and your phone can be repaired by being sent from any o2 store

Do you work for o2 aswell fella?
PUK is the code to unblock your mobile when you piss around with the security settings and block your phone...PAC code is authorisation code to take your mobile number to a different network.

So you'll understand that products have differant warranty periods. My Nokia has a 2 year warranty, but others at the time only had 12 months. This was regardless to the contract length

Nah its like a broadband MAC code, so you can migrate to another service provider / network.

PUK code is for if you block your pin number
James, just move networks. Lower your tariff down to the lowest one & get your PAC code
On the 3 website they're doing 750 mins & 150 texts for £17.50 a month on some handsets!
O2 will either match that & upgrade you there & then or they'll sort it so you can move

I got 750 mins/750 texts + k800i for £20 a month. My Bro managed after but everyone else who tried were told GTF. Worth asking for that when you upgrade!

As far as i'm aware there was an issue but now sorted. The last in tray i saw said the Anovo repair company will now repair as long as proof of 18 month contract is provided. O2 is the only company doing this currently really. Go into the dartford store JR and they will send it off 7-14 working days :-)
