Zetec-S only came in 1.6 16v mate. The 1.25 is just Zetec.
The Corsa will be near on as quick in a straight line, but Zetec S will kill it in the corners.

IMO, the standard handling on my Zetec-S is better than that of my old 1.4 16v which was dropped 60mm. All down to personal opinion. Get out and compare a few cars and see what suits you best.

What i dislike about the zetec-s's is that theres no feel at allwhen the car may begin to understeer, way over servode imo.

Beat many zetec-s' in my 1.4 16V, my SRi isnt a bad car, its pretty quick for what it is, but I wish I had waited slightly longer and just gone for the 1.6! Try Bell.co.uk they were pretty good with me, insure your parents as named drivers too, works a treat to bring the premium down!
