GSi Has C16XE. Sport has X16XE.
Gsi has a few more BHP. Not sure on acceleration etc.
Parkers are usually good for comparing performance stats for same model, different spec.

early gsi had the c16xe
I have had a gsi and a few late sports, would get the sport over the gsi as they are newer. theres nothing in the c16xe and x16xe on the road, I have owned both.
if you were tuning the engine the c16xe head is a much better design but not much better than a well worked x16xe one.

gsi in most cases equals rust
sport equals prob less rust
gsi has kit, buy a kit and put it on a sport

i just think its crap how the top of the range model could just as well be a merit from the outside!

indeed but still they are special editions with smaller engines, the corsa sport looks just like the bottom of the range, a quicksilver or furio isnt bottom of the range

Just like a corsa sport hardly looks the same as a merit. Colour coded bumper, spoiler, alloywheels, slighty lower. Steve you never have any good to say, you put NO positive input into this site what so ever. Why don't you just leave?
