if im wrong feel free to correct

Insurance companys will want you to get an engineers report to say the work has all been carried out and the car is up to legal standard

because the cars is cat D its value is less then normal. so if you have a crash the insurance company will be more likely to just write the car off.

and thats the extent of my knowledge hope it helps
