busy refurbing the calipers now...

a few pistons were very sticky... one was jammed solid (had to bash it free with WD40 and mallet/wood)

Going to hopefully rebuild with Ferrodo DS2500's

For reference..... If you are looking for a caliper service kit just buy it from Subaru UK... half the price of online sellers etc!

Ebay etc is £22 for 1 caliper kit. Subaru was £20 for kit containing seals etc for both front calipers!

Thats a tight fit in that garage. Must be a pain to get in and out.

managed to jack either side up and plonk on stands.... not that tight. Can walk down both sides You must be a big fat bas

Skyline is a bit tighter in there... but the impreza is actually quite a wee car

these cost £20 to refurb.

They worked before, just giving them a clean out. No reason for new ones

everything back together now and pads bedded in. Seem very good given limited bedding (feckin traffic jams so couldnt get to where i planned to go to get upto speed)
