this may be a stupid question but when you powdercoat something can it withstand high temps? i.e
i was wanting to get my lower inlet powdercoated, manifold and other parts?

Yes. You can use High-Temp powders. A powder coated surface can withstand up to 1000ºF with peaks up to 1200ºF, if using the high temp powder.
