My astra 2.0 DTI could keep up with a 1.6 fez. And my corsa is faster than my astra. So...... Corsa gets my money,

Straight line, Corsa has it everytime. Bends involved, Fiesta easily. However, Fiesta would have burned the entire sump of oil before reaching the corner, and seized up.

i didnt think their was a difference in gsi and sport.
i know the zetec s is suposidly 0-60 in 9.5 secs
i think the sport is about the same
i supose if it was a straight line race to answer a earlier question

Zetec S. About the same in a straight line. Zetec S FAR superior round bends.

GSi had both C16XE and X16XE engines. X16XE had 3bhp-2lb/ft less that C16XE, but also lacked the power delivery of the C16XE. Difference is not noticable on the road. I remember when i had my Sport, Zetec S was a walk in the park in a straight line. Bends was another matter. they stick like shit to the proverbial blanket

i aint got a clue about straight line race, i would imagine a zetec s would win in corners as ive heard that not alot can touch them through bends

Indeed Should edit.... Corsa's can't touch them through the bends. Which is true in all honesty. I think a Zetec S is superior in every way to ANY standard Corsa B.
