If mine has 125bhp (which it proberly has) it will do 15.6sec 1/4 mile. So it must have more if people reckon it will 15.2/3

according to that site, my car, as it is, will do 15.6sec 1/4 mile. But some people on here reckon it will do 15.2-15.3 sec 1/4 mile, so it must have more than 125bhp.

or weigh less? or the site could be wrong as it doesn't take gear ratios/air resestance/wind speed/tyre pressures/size into account?

the calculator uses quite a complex mathematical equation to work it out, its not 100% accurate but a lot more accurate than some people on CS guessing what your car will run

put it this way a lad whos has his cupra remapped ran a 14.7 and the calculator gave him the figure 14.7 so it generally fairly accurate give or take 0.2 of a second or so

indeed, i added the 4wd and rwd to kinda of allow for gearing to some extent, obviouolsy a 4wd car will run faster than a 2wd car of similar power and weight output

Only if the gear ratios are the same, the RWD car COULD be faster, if the 4WD had long ratios.
The only way you'd get it 100% accurate would be by having inputs for all the things I mentioned, plus frontal area, fuel load, weight distribution etc
Far too complicated.

yesh, its not needed tbh and probably still wouldnt be 100% accurate its just there really to give you an accurate bhp/ton and an "idea" of performance
im quite impressed with how accurate it is though considering its based only on calculations
