Who would you go for against Spain?

Bear in mind Hargreaves and Jenas are out

Robinson

Richards Woodgate Ferdinand Bridge

Lennon Gerrard Barton Barry

Defoe Rooney

PS I see no point in sticking with Gary Neville... we have a seemingly decent young RB... learn him up as Neville can't go on forever!

looks like rooney is out for spain now aswell.

not sure if crouch would play of defoe well enough, and for that matter if rooney and defoe would suit.

I would go with Couch as a lone, and allow gerrard to play a free across the mid. or go with crouch and bent/johnson

rooney has?

thats a relief, i would go crouch as lone and play rooney off him then. Rooney is always an attacking MID in my eyes

You wanna play the Watford keeper against Villa and Torres Arguably the best forward line in the world

Not yet IMO

Crouch and Rooney don't work, end of... Rooney is in decent form past few games so gotta be him IMO!

Agree mostly but would having defo and rooney on is too similar imo, not sure what to suggest though as crouch and rooney aren't exactly amazing together (although they don;t necessarillly need to be if gerrard and barton push up).

Be a tough game as spain look good enough to beat anyone when they get it right.

I still want villa at liverpool

Carra wont get picked again no doubt...which Im not too bothered about as means he wont get injured for our games.

Aslong as Gerrard and Alonso dont tackle each other I'll be happy!

To be fair he doesn't get much chance to shine for Liverpool imo. Definatley a player you need on the bench for England though.

Yeah, OK maybe I was being harsh as angry at the chances he has missed recently.

Marc...he is getting a great run out lately. Cost us the Blackburn away game by missing 3 excellent chances, and missed two great chances against Everton
