You sure it's not a scratch on the plastic cover over the lense?. You might be able to use scratch remover on a cotton bud or something?

just had the back off, there is no actual cover over the lense itself. I have a bloth on the screen, but its on the pics when uploaded so i know its on that side of the lense. If there is a cover its a small plastic one that i don't fancy removing.

No I meant the plastic cover on the back of the phone. Under the sliding cyber-shot cover.

There is , there is a clear plastic cover recessed next to the mirror. not sure if this is the lense itself but the camera looks to be under this. I thought mine was scratched bus it was only dust.

Yeh there is plastic on it, just checked mine
also, if u want this replacing, i can do it but will have to purchase whole housing in, then will subtract a suitable cost for u if u dont want the actual full housing

is this you saying that if you upload pictures on phone via what ever method there is still a blotch on them if so is the screen and not the camera anyway . If you take a picture and download them is there a blotch on them then . Sorry if i got this wrong but your comment above is not that clear

yeah the blotch is on the camera side, ie when a photo is taken its capturing the blotch, so must be lense side rather than a screen problem.
