Trying to get XDMCP to accept connections from the 'outside' but all I get is Xming displaying a blank screen when connecting to the external IP... yet its fine from within the internal network??

Just I need to access it from time-to-time from Uni, I can already SSH thats not a problem, but some apps I need to use within Gnome...

Looked on the net, all I can find is VNC info, or just how to enable XDMCP... Looked through the gdm.conf file and it just has the enable option, nothing to specify what interfaces or IP to use...

puzzled - yes...
