Me and my brother in the Corsa. Some lad and his bird in the Astra.

Pulls away from lights on local dual carriageway. Astra gives it some, I give it some. Stayed neck and neck with him till 70 then wasn't bothered about going any faster.

Come home went on Parkers for performance figures and I think it was a 1.7 CDTi Mine's a 1.2 16v.

Is it just me or is that slow for a 1.7 turbo diesel.

Just looked on Vauxhall's site and it looks like it would have been a 1.3 CDTi.

0-60 12.8

My 0-60 is supposed to be about 13.3.

Only 1.7 mentioned on there is 11ish 0-60.

i looked up on parkers once and it quoted an engine as being an 8V when they stopped doing them in like 93 and i looked up a 97 model which could only be a 16v
