We've had this amount of injuries all season. At one point we had a full 11 that would make the first team out, in all the right positions, lol.

Squad for tonight: Harper, Srnicek, Forster, Babayaro, Bramble, Taylor, Edgar, Huntington, Butt, Duff, Dyer, Milner, Sibierski, Pattison, Martins, Luque, Solano, Troisi, Carroll, LuaLua.

Butt is going to be captain in the absense of Parker and Given.

The fans were so underwhelmed at his return from Birmingham, that he was actually booed onto the pitch as a substitute during the Villareal match (Aug). Not sure but probably the same reasons during the PSV match (July). They felt that he wasn't the same/a shadow of his former self etc, mostly due to his 1st season at Newcastle (and the fact that when at Bham he wasn't too fantastic there either). However, during the Villareal (don't quote me on this) but he really turned the game around scoring two goals, drawing the match 3-3 (?) Anyway, seems to have earnt their respect back now.

Before this season it seemed like he didn't want to be at Newcastle and thought he was too good for us. I like most was hoping brum stayed up last year just so the clause for them to buy him kicked in but he has turned it around (apart from the backpass against fulham).
He's been on top form this season and I think the way he's playing at the moment would be the second name in midfield every game with everyone fit.
Don't know if any of that actually makes any sense I can't be arsed to read through it again
