If it's 1989, and has a dump valve, it's an RS Turbo, not an RS1600i

had quite a lot wrong with it

Bonnet Cable - It was fcuked

The fan wasn't cutting in, so, the temprature was shooting up

Used a knife to open the fuel cap

So, yeah, some work needed to be done, including getting it taxed & MOT'd

With all due respect, I think absolutely mint might have been a slight exageration for a car that was up for 900 quid and sold for 750.
