Just gathering some info for the trip to Europe next year...
Anybody driven around Europe?
Where did you go?
How many miles?
How many of you were there?
Laws regarding the car going there?
Anything to look out for?
Places to stay / see?

London - Paris - 257 miles
Paris - Brussels - 183 miles
Brussels - Berlin - 486 miles
Berlin - Munich - 376 miles
Munich - Rome - 603 miles
Rome - Milan - 424 miles
Milan - Bern - 216 miles
Bern - Paris - 346 miles
Paris - London - 257 miles.
Nice round trip going to the countries you mentioned.
3148 miles, IN A STRAIGHT LINE
so that's 14 tanks of fuel, if you don't go round corners, £560 on petrol at least, then accomodation in each place, food, ferry/eurotunnel, emergency repair money.
I reckon you'd want about 2.5k/3k...
